PROJECT: WORLD HOPE ACADEMY
We believe that locked up in every person, there lies God-given potential for greatness. This project gave us the chance to unlock that potential for generations to come. In 2000, World Hope began building on an 8-acre piece of land in the middle of the Kawangware Slum, an area that was essentially a garbage dump, where the poorest of the poor lived. In 2011, the Premier Foundation was blessed to travel to Nairobi for the dedication of the Hope Academy High School, built with nearly $250,000 that the Foundation helped to raise. In 2014, we celebrated with the Academy’s first graduating class. The evolution of this extraordinary project continues. As more and more children and teenagers pass through the halls of Hope Academy, the country of Kenya will change in ways that cannot be imagined.

PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
Hope Center rose from the ruins followed by Hope Church and then Hope Academy, educating and feeding over 500 children daily. The area soon became a beacon of hope throughout the region. World Hope gives the hope and love of Christ to the hopeless, not only offering spiritual hope but meeting their needs emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
The evolution of this extraordinary project continues. Now we’re cultivating resources to fund teachers, instruments and more in the months and years ahead.
