Our Story

Founding owners Roy Morgan and Gary Gentry of The Premier Group, corporate umbrella for Premier Productions, Premier Christian Cruises, Premier Festivals and Camp Electric, started the 501 (c)(3) non-profit Premier Foundation to support various missionary activities. Gary and Roy believed it was important to fund activities that feed, clothe and shelter the poor as well as grant funds to other charitable activities. Since the Foundation’s inception in 1998, the organization has grown to fulfill the directive in the current mission statement.

The Premier Foundation has granted over $3,000,000 to non-profit ministries and various charities over the past 12 years. Some of those organizations benefiting from the Premier Foundation include: The James Fund, World Vision, Compassion International, Gospel Music Association Foundation, Motor Racing Outreach, the Center for Church Transformation, various churches, over 800 Christian radio stations reaching 46 states and many more.

Originally incorporated in North Carolina, the Foundation headquarters is now located in South Carolina.
