Gregory Named Premier Foundation Projects Director

(Greenville, South Carolina) – October 1, 2009 – The Premier Foundation recently named Rebekah Gregory to the position of Projects Director. As Projects Director, Gregory will be involved in many aspects of the Foundation – overseeing the numerous silent auctions that take place throughout the year, both online and on board the Premier Christian Cruises voyages; implementing fundraising events across the country; helping to maintain the Foundation’s website presence; as well as various day-to-day responsibilities.

"We are truly blessed to have Rebekah join the Foundation," says Gene Krcelic, President of the Premier Foundation. "With her background and skill set, she will help the Foundation grow to our potential."

Gregory comes to the Foundation from Furman University where she served as Director of the Paladin Club, the fundraising arm of the athletics department. While at Furman, Gregory planned and implemented over ten large-scale events each year, ranging from golf tournament and bowl-a-thon fundraisers to Athletic Hall of Fame induction dinners and football halftime socials for donors. She also wrote and published the quarterly newsletter and maintained the Paladin Club's website and numerous printed publications. Prior to her stint at Furman, Rebekah was an NCAA compliance officer at Michigan State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Health & Exercise Science from Furman University and a graduate degree in Sports Management from the University of Tennessee.

Rebekah is excited to be a part of the Premier Foundation. According to Gregory, "I desire to use my gifts to help make a lasting impact in the lives of others. Although I greatly enjoyed working in collegiate athletics for most of my life, it is gratifying to know that I am now part of a company that can have such eternal significance. Along with Gene, I look forward to growing the Foundation in ways that we cannot even imagine right now."
